Copper and Leather, with a Beautiful Stone

This stone came from my step-pap’s lapidary scraps. I saw a small misshapen piece of it that I loved and knew I had to cut into it. It gave me two beautiful cabs, one of which was turned into this piece.

I do not know what specific stone this is. I do know it’s a type of agate (a lot of stones are types of agates).

The colour was perfect with the warmth of copper and brown leather. This hand-fabricated pendant is just under an inch in length, and hangs from 20” of brown leather cord with a handmade clasp.
